The Ficus Elastica Ruby, is a broad waxy leafed plant that has a ruby wash colour to the leaf. It prefers an indoor position with morning sun or dappled light. Bright light will bring out more red colouring in the new growth. It is a tough and fast growing plant that can reach several metres tall in the wild. Wait until the soil dries out before watering again.
