These Monstera Borsigiana Albo Variegata Cuttings are a rare Monstera Deliciosa variety that does not grow leaves as large as the large form Deliciosa. Its variegation is also whiter as leaves harden off, is more stable variegation, and is more prolifically variegated than a large form Deliciosa Albo. All leaves of these cuttings are variegated. Plants can be propagated in water, sphag or soil and need to be kept damp and warm in extremely bright non direct light until they strike and grow a root system. THESE ARE NOT PLANTS BUT FRESH CUTTINGS. Some browning off and softening around the stem cuts is EXPECTED as the plant develops a root system. Once successfully propagated into a growing plant, the Borsigiana is suited to an indoor position or a well-sheltered outdoor spot under a patio or veranda. It prefers very bright light or a non-harsh sun position and needs to dry out in the soil completely before another water. The white of the leaves is more delicate to the sun and is easily burnt in harsh sun, or will develop black patches if the light is too low. Position, therefore, needs to be taken into consideration. PLEASE NOTE: The Mother Plant is Grown by Verdant Dwellings and these fresh cuttings have been taken by Verdant Dwellings. Photos were taken IMMEDIATELY after cutting, so some browning at the cut point or callousing may occur by the time of arrival. This is normal. Areal roots WILL show areas of cracking in the outer dark sheath and WILL discolour as the plant grows a root system.
