Begonia Masoniana Iron Cross Variegated
PHOTOS ARE OF THE PLANT YOU ARE PURCHASING
The Begonia Masoniana Iron Cross has a large drop shaped leaf in a bright green with a dark shaped cross pattern that spans out from the stalk on mature leaves. This one is naturally vareigated and has had two leaves that have large amounts of creamy white natural vareigation. NOTE: The Iron Cross DOES NOT have a dark-edged leaf like the Begonia Masoniana Mountain, the true Iron Cross is a different variety. The Begonia Masoniana Rock also has a dark edge however a smaller leaf than the larger leaf Mountain and Iron Cross varieties. It has a highly textured leaf that will feel soft and become harder as the leaf ages. Like all Begonia, it likes a brightly lit position, especially due to the white vareigation in the leaf, out of harsh sunlight. Begonia need their soil to stay moist, not wet, but do not like to have water sitting on their leaves as it can cause mold and rotting to occur. They like humidity, but don’t have to have it to thrive. This plant is propagated and grown by Verdant Dwellings. PLEASE NOTE: As a naturally variegated plant, ongoing variegation is not guaranteed. Please take this into account when purchasing. This plant has had one variegated leaf removed, as can be seen in photos.
