The Xanthosoma Frozen Planet is commonly known as a type of Elephant’s ear plant. This variety of Xanthosoma has deep green leaves that have a matte appearance and, as it matures, deep purple stems that have a ‘frosted’ look. In a bright position, the leaves can increase in size as the plant grows to over 60cm wide. This plant requires a very bright spot such as a morning sun position and likes to mostly dry between waters, but not be left dry. In cooler climates, it will die off to two to three leaves in the cooler months. Verdant Dwellings propagated and grown plants.
