Epiphyllum Anguliger
Epiphyllum Anguliger
The Epiphyllum Anguliger or ‘Fishbone Cactus’ is from the cactus family and is similar in look to other flat leaf Epiphyllum. It grows long flat foliage that also acts as a stem and will branch continuously growing bushier and trailing downwards, however, this variety also has a ‘zig zag’ or fishbone shape to every leaf, giving the plant its common name. It flowers when mature, which can take some time, with a beautiful orange and white fragrant flower that blooms at night similar to its cousin the Epiphyllum Oxypetalum. It likes a morning sun or bright indirect light position and not to dry out completely. Although it is part of the Cactus family, it does not like to be dry or be in full harsh sun and leaves will appear yellowish if the position is too bright and shrivel if too dry. This plant is Propagated and Grown by Verdant Dwellings.
